In 2005 CIMNE created the Project Management Department to facilitate the management of its research projects, uniting the scientific and economical aspects of these projects. We are responsible for giving support to researchers in the preparation of project proposals, managing the project from the economical and administrative point of view, we prepare the financial statements and maintain the relationships with the institutions that finance the projects, as well as the relations with the rest of the participants in cooperation projects.

Our department has built an extensive knowledge and expertise in searching financing sources, in the coordination of the preparation of offers and proposals, in the negotiation of contracts and the follow up of the projects.

The objectives of the Project Management Department consist of:

• To stimulate and facilitate the participation of researchers in investigation and technological innovation projects
• To obtain (public and private) funds to implement R&D projects.
• To boost and promote the innovation and the technological progress in the productive sectors by transferring the investigation results.
