The Aerospace Engineering Group is a heterogeneous team within CIMNE in charge to develop new and amazing projects in the aeronautical field, optimization and data modelling, as well as fuel cells.
The group deals with research in fluid dynamics, optimization, and fuel cells technology and also collaborates with other CIMNE groups in Composites materials analysis, or IT technology applied to sensoring and data management.
Due to its multi-disciplinarity, this group requires the collaboration of all the people in CIMNE, at least once. Research activities are developed in relation to the following topics:
- Numerical Methods
- Solid and Structural Mechanics
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Stochastic Mechanics
- Materials
- Optimization Methods
- Electromagnetics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Pre and Post Processing
- Manufacturing Processes
- Multidisciplinary Coupled Problems
